Day Eleven, was a blast, of wind that is...

You know it's windy when you have to push the bike down the hills...ha!  at least it wasn't raining as well, still barely made 25 miles today with all those hills, and then the wind.
Traffic wasn't so bad, at least the Coal Blasting** is behind me, I hope, though I am getting close to a Casino again.
So Oregon DOT has some work to do when it comes to 'bike friendly' concept...along 101.
Last night I stayed in http://www.deaneslodge.com/ a nice quirky place, and affordable, along with if I were traveling with people, it would have been really awesome with all you get, full kitchen but too bad I was only there for a night, due to some foundation issues the shower opened right into the toilet, lets call it quirky, and I'm nimble enough to get around the very clean commode.  Staff was very friendly, very clean place, can't recommend it enough.

So after 25.3 miles to Florence, I'm at the Economy Inn(English is not their formal language so be understanding), from the outside, looks not so good, but once in the clean room with an outstanding flooring job, I feel it was worth the $50....One mile to go to Grocery Outlet, and this weekend is freebie weekend from the National forests, ooh, an I'm a Vet, so free places to stay this weekend on my way to Coos Bay, where my first host from the Warmshowers.org site is supposed to be.

Sorry no pics, if you haven't seen enough Sand and Ocean, go on a trip, you need to get out, I wasn't wasting daylight just to take pics of the surf.

**Coal Blasting is when a diesel truck pulls up along side of a cyclist then drops the clutch to blast the black filth built up from inside the exhaust system in their truck at a cyclist.
