88 days and I found a syringe in front of the house!

I try to stay positive here, looking at that bright future, but wow, a junkie actually left their dirty needle in with the free pile I left to get rid of stuff in front of the house, tied up with a red straw, just so pathetic that Junkies go out of their way to try and hide their needles, didn't know I needed a sharps container on the parking strip, oh wait, junkies wouldn't use it. But on brighter news, made ten bucks selling some papers for the Legion of the Supermen I inherited, the paper stuff wasn't worth much, the ring, that there are 13 known to exist, oh that would have been worth money.  Capt Crunch, the Cookie Crook and his Crooked dog, nope nothing for them, the plushie market has dried up. Finished reading "Crazy is my Superpower" by AJ Mendez Brooks, as I survived my childhood too there were many things I identified with in her past, though I wish I would have had the same school opportunities she had, for me school was almost as abusive as home....

another bike box filled with bikes

Image
Took two pieces of OSB and a pallet made of wood planks, cut the wood plank for the sides, and filled with bikes, perfect for the much maligned Bike E recumbent, true I could get a refurbished one for $399, but this one was a dumpster find, and rebuild.  Also had room for the Shogun and the frame for the transforming bike, along with the box of books I'm keeping.  All that's left is the screw down the lid and attach the little wheels.

LINKS TO MY ART....

The URL for this blog is so much more convenient, so below are the youtube links to some of my paintings, I'll have to update this with the new painting I will be assembling tomorrow, just have to wait for the paint to dry. Parka Boy Emotion Pedler schpeal Several pieces I did in November 2016, Along with one that sold. Live, hot, Now.... Pretty Girl.... And my latest, Fear is the Mind Killer , edited out the Fear is the little death part by mistake, but since "petit mort" is really French for Orgasm, I think it turned out better as the tone of the Dune Haiku has nothing to do with getting one's nut. Gratuitous plug for free stuff, giftcards for food, mobile minutes, and beef jerky. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2TNGRHLIDJ0CF/ref=cm_go_nav_hz   my trip list

last yardsale evah!

Kind of bittersweet, not just because I'm not going to do that again, yet I kind of assumed I wouldn't get all of the big ticket items sold I wanted too, but that's yesterday's news. People liked my art, were amazed, but I'm caught in the conundrum of my stuff not selling, which since I like it I'll keep it and find a new wall to put it on, but there is that question of validation through currency. Made a few bucks that will take me down the road, an I'll just take the tax write off for the rest, take pics, show comparables, and I could have a $600 write off. Sadly though, I discovered another box of comics that I haven't read, but I'll have one full short box to take with an read on my daily breaks, can't bike it all in one stretch people. 115 days people....an I'm outta here....

120 days, and just had to make one last painting

Image
Sold one, yes ONE of my perspective paintings, and I'm guessing it will be the last painting I sell, which means they will end up on a wall somewhere when I find a new home....as will all of the new art I paint in the future.  That's $40 in mah pocket, and one less painting I have to take with me. I like my own stuff, so if it doesn't sell, that's okay, I like it, and inspired by those British manor houses that would have paintings floor to ceiling. So I've got paint to get rid of, and a lack of ability to do something I will take with me, cause then I would have to store it, and I'm already pushing that boundary as it is. Here's one last painting seattle, it's only temporary, since it's attached to the house an will be torn down after I leave, it's a goner...

Contemplating the future

One of the things I do these days is contemplate what I'll miss, well, I don't think I'll miss being in the middle of things that I see coming down the road for seattle, it will be more fun to watch it from a distance. I see the future of self driving cars, especially seattle will vote for them, but what happens when you have 1000+ emotionless cars obeying Every traffic law perfectly, amongst 1000s more doing what they do now, trying to get to the red light faster than everyone else? Also, what happens when human drivers bully the autonomous vehicles? And what happens to the 1000s of cabbies who lets face it, not the most employable people anyway, otherwise they wouldn't be driving cabs, what does seattle do with all of the unemployed who are basically unemployable in a city like seattle.  Having my job displaced by tech, nothing was done to further me into something else, a better opportunity etc. Or smart homes, one day there will be an upgrade, just some code w...

122 days

Sadly I have to go pick up my art on tuesday, the stuff that didn't sell, strange how my non-Pollock's sold all three, and I've only sold one of my perspective pieces, but the good news is that it's the most complex of them, since it's not just a Perspective Piece, it's also got the raised subliminal image. The whole painting is supposed to say "I ❤ to Inflict ART", or "Art I ❤ to Inflict". Sad to see it go, but nice to sell at least one before I go.  Strange I've only sold one, but where ever I go, I'm going to have walls, and I'm going to make enough paintings to cover those walls... Along with a few bikes.  ðŸ˜‰ Super jazzed about being off next week, did a bunch of hours at work to pad that retirement fund last week...cause I don't want to have to get another job, ever. So the plan is, October be on the road heading south, so I can head east to a non income tax state, and find a cheap place to live, place that I can be...
