I parked this bike's info on the 529 garage, so hopefully if it gets stolen while I'm out on the road I might get it back.
It was a freebie, as a friend used it, and had some obvious problems, I had to replace two spokes on the front rim, then re-true both wheels as Kona went cheap with their wheel building, I think they used the same size spokes for the non-disc as they did for the disc, so the machine that straightened the wheels did so 'within tolerance', which means both wheels were about 3/8" off center when installed.
Nothing dangerous, but after a long hall it might make you out of alignment and make you hurt. I also replaced the brakes, all of it, as the hydraulic brakes it came with weren't too dependable.
So gonna put the trailer on the back of it, and load up for the trip.
I still need to get the right angle on the seat, but pointing it down in front saves the groin area, oh an a suspension seat post. Next is to put a rear rack on it.
I have my freedom plan.
