The Precious.....bike

Image
A new bike, er cycle, as I found the 61T precious, which will be going into my pedal powered clothes washer plan for the future. Here's the pics.

It's a new day for a new shelf, an I'm feeling good....

After a few days of thinking of how I wanted to finish it, I went with the simple, mineral oil, really seemed to bring out the Oak in the wood. Look at all that green can't tell it's been maybe a month since it barely rained Yup, that's oak, even though it's former pallat wood, it's still strong enough to be a shelf. And there it is installed on the wall.

Smelly shed smelly shed what are they feeding you....

Tomorrow night it's supposed to rain, so hopefully the smell will go away...but it looks nice. Side of the shed Front doorway, still working on the doors, do I spend money an make better doors, or to I finagle doors out of the old doors which are too short.

Sadly the chicken is no more....But the Shed stands supreme....

With one eye he wasn't long for this world anyway, and on friday I came home to find feathers everywhere, so I assume he's no more, at least I was nice to him while he was here. But the shed project came quite far along, just needs paint and a roof....

New Shed was adopted by a chicken....

He's a big bird, and except for that right eye, seems healthy.  and over the weekend he spent time perched on the frame for my shed. On Saturday he seemed to be in some sort of posturing with the big red chicken that lives on the goat farm with many hens, they were in front of my house so I stepped out to keep things from ending up like Ukraine.  Evidently Big Red is a southpaw, as my visitor didn't seem to open his right eye. I even got him to eat some tortilla that I tossed at him, so at least he's eating, sadly he seems to have been chased away by a stray dog that Prison B*tch who lives down in a camper down the street lets loose.  He might come back tonight.  Here he is at the start of work on sunday, and it's at this point I realize I forgot to take after pics of the shed, where I put in the angle braces, straps, and even got started on the skirt.

New Shed, better than the old shed, won't get hit by trees.

Well the old shed is partially disassembled and the new frame for the rebuilt shed is almost there, gonna have to kill some bamboo so I can get to the sides of the old shed, to remove the side panels. So far, didn't burn down the yard, nothing fell over, so it's staying upright, feels solid.
