It's a new day for a new shelf, an I'm feeling good....

 After a few days of thinking of how I wanted to finish it, I went with the simple, mineral oil, really seemed to bring out the Oak in the wood.

Look at all that green can't tell it's been maybe a month since it barely rained

Yup, that's oak, even though it's former pallat wood, it's still strong enough to be a shelf.

And there it is installed on the wall.
