RINGU I found the precious......

Image
UPDATE: sadly, it's a fake, a really good fake since it has the right feel, but maybe that's why the lady who had it threw it out the window and it landed on the HWY for me to find.  It was a good feeling while it lasted.  Ah people might look at me funny when I'm out running around here, but the ring with a 18 stamped on the inside of it with all the sparkly things that might be diamonds, tells me running is a good thing. I notice the hearts on the ringu that might indicate that this is a 'Wuhan-Covid" related break up.... And now the Precious...Grandma Peaches said I was Precious, so I must be....

Interior pics since somebody says I don't post enough of the inside.....;)

Well someone said I hadn't posted enough pics of the inside, I thought I had, but that might have been before I fixed Cookie Monster's left eye...

It's down, woot woot!

The last of the danger to the house limbs from the tree are down. I cut it and then I had to say goodbye to the old tree with the rocks on it, then grind down the stump and put grass over it, hope that patch holds, if not I'll drill some holes into the stump to put some dirt in. That sucker couldn't have fallen any better. An here's a bug that just came out of it's shell.

Spiders an rides....

Image
The seasonal rides came by, I would have tried one out if they had something scary...  This carny thing shows up in what I think used to be a Kmart, now it's a few stores, including the Aldi and the Harbor Freight Crap.  That little grey thing under the spider, is a normal sized Grasshopper, yes the Spiders here are YUGE!  This is a second spider, almost as big, he just killed another grasshopper today. As you can see he saw me going around his web so he moved, fast little bugger.  I discovered a third one of these yellow an black spiders on the back side of the playhouse.

This is the Brownwood Coliseum, where today they had a business expo, I showed up for the free pens.  Around here Moses parts just about whatever you need it too....  Inside of the coliseum, it's a good size for a basketball game.  Outside the coliseum, streets used to have those bricks on them, city saved them and now re-uses them in sidewalk projects.  This is the back of the old Weatley-Watson, evidently if you wanted a carriage, it would come out of those doors up there on the second floor.  I think the 'eyes' are going to be for Teddy's, a play on Roosevelt, to help promote that the building will be a brewhaus, and the closest place I could go out for a burger.  Across the street is one of the four or five places that has an elevator, and is probably the tallest thing around.  Inside Teddy's is this indian statue. I also saw them installing the 'Yuge' vats to make their beer.  Old hardware etc store, nice wood floo...

Wow things are really starting to come together....

Got a bed, now the awesome 65" tv, refrigerator is coming on saturday, it's like having an actual house, unlike 'paint huffer dude' across the way, I even have this stuff call running water, hot an cold... Soon to be even colder, and I'm one of those few people who knows how to use 'ice trays', never understood the magical appeal of an icemaker in the freezer that just takes up more room than necessary, and way more room than an ice tray.  As you can see, the 'Yuge' tv is in place, an it plays Nature Films really really well. Clock might be a bit off. This is the DVD cabinet, I added the wheels so I can get it out of the way easy, and get to the tv.

Time to assemble furniture....

Image
Bedframe arrived yesterday, and didn't take too long to assemble, mattress is going to probably take a day to fully re-inflate. Curtains gently wafting curtains Doctor....are up in the 7.5' doorway, most of the time I'll leave them wide open, but when it's hot I can keep the cool in the bedroom, and when it's cold outside, won't have to heat the whole house.  You can see I put it up on feet, I had to make one for the center post, for some reason the people who make the feet don't realize that the bed comes with FIVE legs, not four, thankfully it was just a 4x4 to which I took two pieces of 2x4 an glued them together.  Curtains from the inside. Got to put the clown back up, but this is from outside the room. And hopefully the tv stand will get here tonight, and I can assemble that, an get a tv, to watch er, 'nature films', like the Discovery Channel only better.
